I have met alot of QA professionals in last couple of years who boast of a 1000/2000 Test Regression Pack..80% Automation ..setting up a separate Automation Team where the team is simply churning out numbers..Quarterly releases with 3-4 days of Regression...If you still feel great about it..Take a pause and think -- Do we really need that ?
